Jackie McCrary, LPC
Real work can bring real change. I believe that all clients have the capacity to make real progress toward positive change. I also empathically recognize that progress and change can be difficult and sometimes scary. With this in mind, I hope to meet you exactly where you are today. Counseling is not a one-size-fits-all practice; I recognize this and will work with you to tailor a therapeutic approach to your individual needs. I also understand the power of the therapeutic relationship between client and counselor and want to make the collaborative process of counseling meaningful for you.

I focus less on “diagnosis” or “disorder” and more on your individual needs. Using an integrative approach to therapy, I hope to help you identify thoughts and emotions that negatively impact your life and help you learn new, healthier ways to think, cope, and behave. I work with adults, young adults, and couples who have a variety of concerns.
Ultimately, my goal is to help you. I want to create a space where, for 50 minutes, you feel validation, support, trust, and empathy. You might also feel gently nudged to challenge old behaviors and thoughts, and move your life in a more positive direction. Real work is hard - but real change is incredibly satisfying. Let's work together towards real change.
